Immunization Services |
Immunizations are offered for children and adults,
including information, consultation and vaccines related to foreign
travel. Your family should be vaccinated according to this schedule.
State provided children's vaccines are distributed to local Physician
offices and Clinics. Vaccine information is made available to individuals
and health professionals. Immunizations are extremely important
to you and the community's health. The Washington State Department
of Health has extensive information on immunizations.
If clients have healthcare providers assigned to them through their health insurance (including DSHS Medicaid), it is the Health District's policy to refer them to their own assigned provider for routine immunizations, in order to promote health monitoring and preventive care.
The Ephrata office provides routine immunization services for children and adults who do not have an assigned healthcare provider. The Moses Lake office provides routine immunization services for adults who do not have an assigned healthcare provider.
When there is an immediate need for a vaccine related to a public health issue, the Health District will provide the vaccination if the client can not get the vaccine in a timely manner through their own healthcare provider.
Children's routine immunizations are charged based on a sliding fee schedule, and no child is denied vaccine because of inability to pay.
Child Profile is Washington State's health promotion and immunization registry system designed to help ensure our children receive the preventive care they need. Click here to access their site for more information and resources.
