Alert: Impersonators Claiming to Be GCHD Staff
GRANT COUNTY, WA – The Grant County Health District (GCHD) has been notified of someone impersonating GCHD Environmental Health staff. This individual has contacted local businesses, falsely claiming to investigate complaints and schedule meetings.
While the intent of this scam remains unclear, we urge the community to take the following precautions:
Verify Emails: All official GCHD email addresses use the domain @granthealth.org. Always double-check the sender's email address.
Check Identification: GCHD employees doing inspections will carry an official badge and business cards. If a badge is not shown upon arrival, please ask to see it before they begin their inspection.
Report Suspicious Encounters: If you suspect someone may be falsely claiming to represent GCHD, please contact our front desk immediately at 509-766-7960 to verify their identity.
