Overview

Currently, GCHD is governed by an eight-member Grant County Board of Health, which consists of community stakeholders and locally elected and appointed officials representing county and city governments in Grant County. They have broad legal authority and responsibility to protect the community's health and to enforce a variety of local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Their powers are specified in the Revised Code of Washington (RCW 70.05.060). (add link)

The Board selects and oversees our leadership; works with us to set our policy and priorities; approves our annual budget; and when the need arises, enacts health policies. This diverse group of county and city elected officials shares a passion for public service that contributes significantly to the health and well-being of our community.

All terms begin on January 1st each year.
